Khok Kruat has a layout similar to Ko Pho, dominated by canals and rivers with minimal signs of urban development. The low infrastructure count and absence of roads or transport nodes suggest the subdistrict remains largely untouched by modern urbanization. Its waterways and open space create a natural, low-intervention environment.

With no commercial, retail, or transport infrastructure recorded, the subdistrict appears to lack the facilities needed for full self-sufficiency. The sparse land use and lack of major infrastructure suggest a population either too small to justify development or entirely dependent on external access for essential services.
