Ko Koet is a low-density, water-adjacent subdistrict with a rural character shaped by its natural water features. Canals, rivers, and lakes dominate the terrain, creating a fragmented landscape with limited connectivity. The built environment is sparse, with only a handful of structures concentrated around the few points of interest.

The area is infrastructure-light, with just a few ATMs and one restaurant recorded. There are no major transport routes or commercial hubs within the subdistrict. The presence of a ferry terminal in neighboring areas hints at limited external access, but Ko Koet remains largely self-contained, suitable only for those prioritizing isolation and proximity to water.
