Thammasala is a low-density, industrial-influenced subdistrict situated around a network of waterways and green spaces. The terrain is marked by a significant number of canals and lakes, alongside industrial zones that define the area’s character. While not a commercial hub, it maintains a quiet, functional layout with limited high-rise development and scattered residential pockets.

The subdistrict has minimal retail infrastructure, with only a few convenience stores and hypermarket satellites. ATM availability is sparse, and major retail or dining nodes are absent. Despite the presence of schools and religious sites, the infrastructure is basic and lacks self-sufficiency. The area remains car-dependent and is likely home to a transient or working-class population.
